Incident:

Pastor Quang, Pastor Du, Mr. Triệu (Pastor Quang's son) and two students came to the church office at the above address to clean and remove some belongings, but the government security used glue to seal the lock, pastor Quang tried to get in by removing side panel.

Suddenly, there were around over 30 security-connected mobs appeared with the uniform-wearing policemen forming an outside circle.

They beat Pastor Quang and his son badly. Pastor Du was also beaten but he managed to run when most of them focused on Pastor Quang. Pastor Quang tried to tell them that he didn't do anything wrong, and this is his property, why trying to beat him, but to no avail.

Father PHAN Văn Lợi and Ven. THÍCH Không Tánh were harassed and threaten by security-connected thugs

Incident:

Ven. Không Tánh visits Father Lợi, 15 minutes later, 3 security-connected thugs appeared at the front door to harass and shouting bad words to them. The thugs later increased to 4 or 5. 

A young monk from pagoda/Chùa Phước Thành took Ven. Không Tánh to Father Lợi's house for a talk over the failed attempt in recent week to meet at pagoda/Chùa Phước Thành. The plan was to giving out gifts to disable veterans of the Republic of Vietnam in Huế.

The thugs were yelling "Mr. Không Tánh come out here"/‘ông Không Tánh ra đây'.

Father Lợi called the chief of province Thừa Thiên-Huế and the chief of city Huế's security to notify and seek help. Both of the them were unwilling and talking around, pushing the issue to lower level personnels.

The thugs were threatening 'Không Tánh come out to face death by beatings'.
